Introduction
Attend this workshop to hear from a wide range of experts on the front lines of these issues to learn about solutions based on innovative design and solid research. In the morning, hear from State Erosion Control and Forestry representatives on the latest regulatory and program changes, from other government representatives and industry professionals on successful case studies and about how soil impacts construction.  In the afternoon, join us in the field where research updates will demonstrate how systems can be improved for better performance.
And, of course, you can fulfill your professional development needs as the year winds down.

  • Industry Vendors will have a table top display space at the back of the classroom.  Vendors may also opt to participate in the field demonstrations by providing supplies or installing devices. To coordinate field supplies and installations, contact Jamie Luther at:  jlstanse@ncsu.edu

Full Day In-person: 6.25 hours
Virtual Morning Only: 3.25 hours

Certificates of attendance will be distributed at the field site for in-person participants.  Virtual participants will receive certificates of attendance by email by Dec 18th.
